TheraPsil’s training has been explicitly named as an approved training provider by several colleges, including the Alberta College of Social Workers which recently mentioned TheraPsil in its Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy Practice Guideline, alongside other institutions like VIU and CIIS.
More broadly, TheraPsil’s programs have been accepted by hundreds of clinicians across Canada. While there is currently no standardized or certified national training for psychedelic-assisted therapy in Canada, colleges we’ve consulted generally consider it acceptable when it is:
- Legal (e.g., through SAP or exemptions)
- Within the provider’s scope of practice
- Delivered under supervision
- Supported by appropriate training
We recommend that practitioners confirm CE credit eligibility and practice limitations directly with their regulatory body.
