On January 16th, 2023, Sam Riches published an exclusive story for The GrowthOp detailing how legal disclosures have shown that Health Canada acted in bad faith in denying access to psilocybin for healthcare practitioners, despite all government experts confirming that the training is necessary for patients’ safety.

Additionally, practitioners have been told they must participate in clinical trials to legally use psilocybin, but documents reveal that “a clinical trial is not possible for the situation TheraPsil is requesting.”

From the story:

Spencer Hawkswell, CEO of TheraPsil, says its team was “appalled” after reading those exchanges. “Honestly, our whole team was in shock when we saw this,” he said. “We were fighting this for a year and a half, and then we find out that they’re actually acting not only against us, but against their own internal departments and experts. It’s really sad. I lost a little bit of faith in our government that day.”

The TheraPsil team is deeply concerned about these disclosures and they hope to find an immediate resolution to the legal case. Here they are for the public to download.
