What this training prepares you for
You will learn to deliver MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for trauma and complex mental health conditions, from assessment and preparation through dosing and long-term integration.

- The legal landscape for psychedelic medicine in Canada, including Health Canada approvals and SAP applications.
- MDMA neuropharmacology, medication interactions, and contraindications for safe, trauma-focused care.
- Preparing the therapy space, selecting music, and the roles of primary and secondary therapists in dosing sessions.
- Facilitating preparation, dosing, and integration with safety, trauma awareness, and long-term follow-up.
- Equity, identity, and implicit bias, and the challenges faced by marginalized communities in MDMA therapy.
Practitioners preparing for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy across mental health, medical, and supportive care contexts, including:

Preference is given to applicants with prior psychedelic training and those who have completed TheraPsil's psilocybin fundamentals.

Choose the format that fits
All fees are in Canadian dollars and subject to tax. Cohorts run online and in person through the year.
The core curriculum, Units 1 to 10. Choose live online over two weekends or a four-day in-person seminar (cohort dependent). Includes small-group learning, required readings and webinars, with experiential and supervision pathways available separately.
A six-day intensive in British Columbia that includes experiential pathways. Supervision for Unit 12 is arranged separately, with individual and group options through our training portal.
